Hopkinsville, KY – Chris Benne, Head Baseball Coach at Northwest High School in Clarksville, TN has been named the head baseball coach for the Hoptown Hoppers 2025 season.
“I am happy to announce that Chris Benne has been hired as our new Hopper head coach,” General Manager, Danny Roberts said. “During our interview process he was really impressive and proved himself to our hiring committee by his past two years as an assistant with the Hoppers. I am excited about the future of the Hoppers. Chris is eager to get started recruiting 2025 Hoppers as he has an extensive list of contacts and connections to recruit from. Chris’s coaching style and character are a perfect fit to our Hopper family.
“I am excited to get back to Hopkinsville this summer and thankful for the Hoppers Board and Danny Roberts for trusting me to lead this excellent group of young men. Hopkinsville is a special town, and it will be a great honor to bring an OVL title back to Hoptown.” - Coach Benne
