Hopkinsville, KY – Andrew Hernandez, pitching coach at Wharton Junior College in Wharton, TX, has been named the head baseball coach for the Hoptown Hoppers 2025 season.
“I am happy to announce that Andrew Hernandez has been hired as our new Hopper head coach,” General Manager, Danny Roberts said. “During our interview process he was really impressive and proved himself to our hiring committee. I am excited about the future of the Hoppers. Andrew is eager to get started recruiting 2025 Hoppers as he has an extensive list of contacts and connections to recruit from. Andrew’s coaching style and character are a perfect fit to our Hopper family. In addition to his interview, Andrew had a great reference from former Hopper coach, Trey Porras, some of you might remember that name.”
