Hopkinsville, KY – Chris Benne, Head Baseball Coach at Northwest High School in Clarksville, TN has been named the head baseball coach for the Hoptown Hoppers 2026 season.
“I am happy to announce that Chris Benne has been hired as our new Hopper head coach,” General Manager, Adam West said. “During our interview process he was really impressive and proved himself to our hiring committee by his past two years as an assistant and one season as the head coach with the Hoppers. I am excited about the future of the Hoppers. Chris is eager to get started recruiting 2026 Hoppers as he has an extensive list of contacts and connections to recruit from. Chris’s coaching style and character are a perfect fit to our Hopper family.
