Hoptown Hoppers Board President Frank Giles and General Manager Ted Jatczak announced Thursday that the program has mutually parted with Grayson Crawford, and has promoted Nick Walker and Matt Reed to co-head coaching positions. Attached and below is a copy of the official press release.

Hoppers Wish Crawford Well

The Hoptown Hoppers wish Coach Grayson Crawford well in his new endeavors.  Coach Crawford has taken the Pitching Coach Job at Austin Peay State University and will spend the rest of his summer focusing on his new position and his family.

The Hoptown Hoppers are eternally grateful to Coach Grayson Crawford and all he has done for the Hoppers.  Coach Crawford hit two major milestones this year winning his 100th game as a Hoppers Coach and being the Head Coach when the Hoppers won their 200th game.  One hundred wins as a summer collegiate baseball coach is a major accomplishment.

The Hoppers will be coached the remainder of the year by Coach Nick Walker and Coach Matt Read.
