We are just 8 days from Opening Day!  Here are this week’s roster additions:

Sam Traver, RHP, Davenport University:  Coach Moss said, ” Sam is a guy this stuff couldn’t wait to scoop up.
He is the prototypical; you know what you are going to get guy. He is a mid-upper 80’s arm with a 3 pitch mix and
can throw any pitch in any count. He was a two-time all conference member in junior college and was a key part of the Davenport bullpen this year. Consistency is his game and on the mound you can never have enough of it.”

Sage Holderfield, RHP, Georgia Southwestern: Coach Moss said, ” Sage is an absolute competitor and bulldog. When he is on, the kid is flat out dominant. His arsenal features a two-seamer up to 90, combined with a power slider and a very capable change-up. He should be a very good arm for the Hoppers whenever he settles into the role that best fits for the team.”

Kendall Marshall, RHP, Middle Georgia State: Coach Moss said, ” Kendall is another arm that this staff is
familiar with having coached against him. He has electric stuff and is a guy who can fill multiple roles if called
upon to do so. He is going to live 86-90 but has been as high as 92. He combines his heavy fastball with a wipeout
breaking ball at the collegiate level. He is another fine addition to this pitching staff.”
