We are just 3 weeks from Opening Day; here are this week’s roster additions:
Max Remy, INF, Austin Peay University: Coach Moss said, “Max is coming to us as a primary Shortstop. He is a veteran who will provide some leadership for the younger group. As a player Max started 21 games as a
Redshirt Freshman and turned in a solid offensive campaign hitting .304. He is athletic enough to play multiple
positions and has done so for Austin Peay; we like the athleticism and the versatility Max will bring to the club.”
Malik Blaise, INF, Southern University: Coach Moss said, “Malik is a guy who will also provide veteran
leadership to the younger guys. He has been a 3-year starter at Southern and has been in the trenches every day
since he started college. Offensively he has a little thunder in his bat and is athletic enough to help you in the
running game. Malik will be able to fill multiple roles for us if needed and also fits the bill of versatile athletes
that you have seen on the roster.”
